It has been a mandatory requirement for CE marking agglomerated stone for flooring and walling products in the UK from 1 July 2013 and in National Building Specifications (NBS) CE Marking agglomerated stone is specified for construction applications.
Our in-house laboratories offer a complete service to meet the CE Marking agglomerated stone requirements of the following product standards:
- BS EN 15285 Agglomerated stone – Modular tiles for flooring and stairs (internal and external)
- BS EN 15286 Agglomerated stone – Slabs and tiles for wall finishes (internal and external)
- BS EN 15388 Agglomerated stone – Slabs and cut-to-size products for vanity and kitchen tops
Note: BS EN 15388 is not currently a harmonised standard, therefore, CE marking not applicable, it is however expected to be harmonised in 2015.
