Sandberg carries out a complete range of chemical testing on a wide variety of materials associated with the built environment. All chemical testing is carried out by Sandberg’s experienced technical staff operating from our well equipped UKAS accredited Laboratories. Chemical testing can be carried out using BS, EN and ASTM Standards supplemented by our own UKAS accredited documented in-house methods. The laboratory is also equipped to undertake a wide range of non-standard testing.
The selection and sampling of any material for chemical testing is vital to ensure that not only is the sample representative of the bulk material as a whole but also that the sample is suitable for chemical testing. Sandberg is able to assist in this process either by advising our clients on sampling methods or attending site and sampling the materials ourselves to ensure that the materials for chemical testing are representative and suitable.
