Sandberg’s laboratories have UKAS Testing accreditation for a wide range of sampling and testing services both in the laboratory and on-site.
UKAS (the United Kingdom Accreditation Service) is the only accreditation body recognised by the UK government to assess, using internationally recognised standards, organisations that provide testing, inspection, certification and calibration services.
Sandberg was one of the first construction materials-related laboratories to receive UKAS Testing accreditation in May 1985 (by the UKAS fore-runner NATLAS).
UKAS testing accreditation demonstrates technical competence, impartiality and sustainable performance when judged against ISO 17025. (Note, certification to ISO 9001 only relates to quality management systems – not technical competence).
