Neil has a First Class degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, has worked as a steelwork designer and has accumulated over 20 years of experience in steelwork for the civil, structural and offshore industries. He also has extensive experience in other industries requiring high levels of material testing and certification and has been involved with advising on systems of best practice.
Along with having Chartered Engineer status through The Welding Institute (TWI), Neil also has senior CSWIP welding inspection and Level 2 ICORR protective coating inspection qualifications and extensive experience in both.
Neil also has an in-depth knowledge of UK building and bridge specifications and the associated European and ISO standards. Alongside his general engineering role, he has also acted as an expert witness for dispute resolution.
Neil sits on the TWI Certification Ltd Welding Fabricator Certification Management Committee (WFCMC).
