John has considerable experience, which has been accumulated over 30 years spent with Sandberg in the inspection of all types of precast and prestressed concrete products, being particularly associated with the inspection and testing of prestressed bridge beams, conarch units, and ordinary reinforced concrete unit production. John regularly performs quality monitoring inspections at various manufacturing plants throughout the British Isles.

In more recent years, John’s scope of work has increased to include performing quality monitoring inspections of steelwork fabrication and protective treatment for bridge and building projects on major structures around the UK.

Additionally, John has extensive experience in the materials testing environment, having been the Engineer in charge of on-site materials testing laboratories for a number of years, including the implementation of quality systems complying with current UKAS accreditation requirements.

Outside work, John supports the Welsh National Rugby team and is an avid Golfer and Quiz Setter and Competitor.
