Jason graduated from Westminster University with a 2:1 degree with Honours in Surveying as an adult student in his 30s. Following a progressive background in trades and management, he specialised in historic buildings and super-prime residential, particularly multi-level basements in the West London area.
Jason’s construction knowledge and experience as a construction surveyor, including structural monitoring and waterproofing for both above- and below-ground structures, led him to become a certified surveyor in structural waterproofing (CSSW). This experience enabled him to design waterproofing for complex structures with insurance-backed guarantees. This background also enables him to identify specific failures in both design and installation.
Following his joining Sandberg in 2021, Jason has been involved in numerous testing methodologies for leak detection, including roofs, podium decks, and basements. He has also tested materials affected by water ingress and provided expert witness reports.
