CE Marking of Structural Steelwork
In July of 2014 it will be become a legal requirement under the Construction Products Regulations (CPR) to CE mark fabricated steelwork sold in Europe, including the UK (this has been put back from July 2012 for most of Europe and July 2013 for the UK).
Sandberg Engineers have been at the heart of the preparations for this legislation including input into the main standard, EN 1090 and the National Structural Steelwork Specification. Sandberg Engineers have extensive experience in the preparation of companies for ISO 3834 compliance, a standard at the core of the CE marking accreditation, and can provide Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC) personnel as part of an overall package.
