Fire, Explosion & Natural Disasters

| Investigation into extent of damage to cladding, following bomb
blast. |
Structures often resist the effects of fire or explosion far more efficiently
than would be anticipated; nevertheless an essential prerequisite in
planning a package of remedial works is to appreciate fully the detail
of the damage. Our ability to provide a rapid response in a crisis can
set in motion the sampling and testing regime that establishes the extent
and severity of material damage. Our investigations can also map out
areas affected by smoke, which not only creates an unpleasant and persistent
odour, but can also include acidic chemicals, harmful to surfaces and
equipment.
