Thermal Performance - Building Regulations Compliance

Sandberg are able to assist with establishing the overall performance of buildings to demonstrate compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations. We are able to carry out SAP calculations to SAP 2001, to demonstrate the allowable trade-offs between the performance of different parts of the building envelope.

This service is of particular value to building envelope contractors and architects at the early stage of a project, when it is still possible to trade-off different elements of the building envelope whilst still achieving compliance. This permits more flexible specification of the building envelope, allowing substantial cost savings to be achieved in some cases.
