Responsible for all Sandberg Laboratories Group activities in the construction materials field with extensive experience in testing of building and civil engineering materials, primarily concrete, mortar and concrete related products, but also bituminous and masonry materials. Manages an experienced technical staff carrying out testing to UKAS accredited national and international standards.

Designed, supervised and reported many in-depth on-site and laboratory investigation programmes and has considerable experience of the implementation, management and auditing of quality systems.

Special interest in the performance and durability of high alumina cement concrete and the evaluation of slip resistance of flooring materials.
