A Certified European Welding Engineer with over 35 years experience in welding, inspection and non-destructive testing and protective treatment. A wide knowledge of methods of non-destructive testing, particularly ultrasonic testing, radiography and magnetic particle/dye penetrant inspection, together with expertise in common welding and cutting processes and protective treatment/galvanizing systems.
Extensive knowledge of Highways, Network Rail and London Underground steelwork and protective treatment specifications, together with British Standards associated with the steelwork construction industry.
A member of an ISO/BSI committee for "Preparation of Steel Substrates Before The Application of Paints".
