Sandberg, founded in 1860, is an independent firm of materials consultants. The practice has extensively developed and extended its materials related services over the last 135 years into all aspects of civil engineering, building industries, inspection and materials testing.

The practice offers highly qualified and experienced consultants who are able to fulfil expert witness duties in diverse fields ranging from major construction claims and disputes to personal injuries arising from manufactured product failures. Individually designed test programmes are undertaken in our in-house laboratories to support and augment evidence.

Sandberg is ISO9001 certified, is a member of the United Kingdom Association of Consulting Engineers and has laboratories that are UKAS accredited.

All of our experts have considerable experience under the new Civil Procedure Rules in writing litigation reports as well as advising Counsel and, where necessary, giving expert evidence in Court.
