Organisation

The firm's head office is situated at 40 Grosvenor Gardens, London, SW1, where it has been since 1919. Other laboratory sites are at Clapham and Kings Cross, both in London. These sites operate UKAS accredited laboratories. Sandberg also holds Quality Management accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001.

Overseas Sandberg Asia Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, is based in Hong Kong.

Sandberg LLP comprises three co-ordinated operation groups supported by administration, quality management and general management functions:

• Civil Engineering Group
  On-site laboratories for major construction projects world-wide.

• Inspection Group
  Building inspection and investigation, precast concrete inspection, structural bearing and expansion joint inspection and steelwork and protective treatment inspectorates.

• Laboratories Group
  Consultancy, construction materials, geotechnical, metallurgy and chemistry departments.

These groups are closely interwoven to provide comprehensive and relevant services to meet individual client's requirements. This collective approach to the client's needs and problems predominates, with each department able to call upon any of the others to help solve a particular problem. In this way the client can be assured of a comprehensive and thorough service.
